What does exactly"attached" to a friend mean?

Hey. It means that although one person in the friendship usually latches on to the other person. Whereas the other person may want some space, the "attached" one may have trouble hanging out with other people. ♥ fabulous

you spend too much time with them, not enough time with someone else.
you can't be happy without them, and get extremly jealous when they hang out with different people.
you depend on the person more than you depend on yourself.

It basically means being dependent on someone, always wanting to see them/talk to them, clingy, etc. It could also mean you're just good friends with someone, like that saying, "attached at the hip", could just mean you're best friends.
