randomgrl777 answered Saturday May 26 2007, 12:03 am: it will only turn green if its light or theres too much chlorene or you dont wash out your hair soon. usually when i dye my hair i wait atleast 24 hours i just leave my hair alone and dont wash or swim in 24 hours. it depends on the color chlorene and washing it to see if it turns green. you should be able to swim just wash your hair out good. I've never dyed or highlighted my hair or anything, but I'm pretty sure the same applies to you. If your hair does turn green though, you won't notice until it's completely dry.
