preppy clothes
i'm going to a new school next year, and there's a dress code. i usually dress pretty preppy anyway, but can anyone tell me brands that people will be wearing? i know like, vera bradley and uggs and everything. but i usually don't pay that much attention to what i wear and i wanna look good and trendy. what stores have clothes like j.crew, a.eagle, and hollister? what other kinds of shoes and bags will people have? thanks

This year just like real sneakers are in, like nikes. Uggs will prob be in next year too..depending on where you live. Wear flip flops with jeans (it looks good lol) uhh like you said a.eagle, hollister, even aeropostale. Don't stress too much about what everyones gonna think though. hope i helped (:

bags: juicy, coach, vera bradley, D&B, victoria's secret
shoes: old navy flip flops!! in brown, white, blue & khaki.
jewelry: beaded necklaces, tiffany anything, simple beachy stuff.
dresses: mostly from hollister and A&F sometimes from other places too.
tanks under shirts, layers..
this is just this year tho..
aeropostale... most people here are embarrassed to wear stuff from there but basics are fine.
gap .. only for the (red) stuff.
j.crew.. not really but i've seen bags from there.

dont listen to the person below me when he/she said buy clothes from the gap. if you wear clothes from the gap, you will get laughed at. and im totally not trying to offend anyone but thats life. anywhoo, hollister, american eagle, abercrombie, aeropostale, forever 21, places like that are what most people in my school wear.
for shoes and bags, ummmm well a lot of people i know wear flip flops from hollister, flats from american eagle and types of shoes, and like DC shoes or Etnies. Bags, well the new trend in my school is using Hollister, american eagle, and abercrombie totes and bags. But if you mean like purses, then aeropostale, XOXO, Douney and Bourke, and Coach have cute bags. Backpacks are basically anything goes. just do what you feel is comfortable and good luck!

ok so first of..uggs are so out...those caught wearing them will be the outcasts...I suggest going to J.Crew, Macy's, Gap, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Hollister, Express, The Limited places like that...I also think you should know that wearing preppy clothes does not make you hot or fun...being yourself and fitting in without trying to...thats what makes you hot and fun...be yourself...don't try to fit it...if you try to make it happen it wont last long
