you sound just like me about 3 months ago... I went on xanga.com and made an account where i list everything that i eat and the caloric levels in 1 post for each day... u can see mine @ www.xanga.com/mrsthenardier

it'll seem really hard at first- but the truth of the matter is: there is no "secret" to weight loss- exept to stay on track. By this i mean having mostly "good days" where you keep your calories under control and you get enough exercise.

You seem to be just like me- someone who is overweight (which i don't know if you are) and is just obsessing over the fact that she is overweight and constantly looking for the secret to thinness.. and thinking that she'll never find it- and therefore eats more because she is more unhappy from weight gain.

You need to break this neverending cycle of eating more, getting fatter, then more unhappy. That's what I did- and I feel so much happier with who I am already even though I'm still 20 pounds overweight.

This is what you need to do step by step:
1. set goals for yourself (i'd suggest taking it 5 pounds at a time- then relaxing a little but not too much)
2. determine a caloric limit (ex: never exceeding 2000, but staying between 1200-1500 normally)
3. decide what kind of exercise you want to do. (i take dance classes and i run/do other exercise machines)
4. Start!

And if you don't know the exact calories of something- estimate the calories. For example: a cup of some kind of pasta or rice dish probably has around 200, so just say 200.

Also you must have proper portion control: like don't eat more than 1 serving of each kind of food- liek don't just keep eating after you've finished a plate of food. (seems hard but gets so much easier and after a few days- you will only want one serving. trust me)

I acutually measure my food with measuring cups... That way I can know the exact amount of calories.

You can also go online to find out how many calories a food item has (just google the name of the food+calories).

Well, I hope I helped.

and remember: never say "i'll start tomorrow!"

and every little thing counts when it comes to dieting.

feel free to ask me any other questions

here's my aim sn: xbwayxactressx
