Your only in 7th grade! i know school is hard trust me. Im a freshmen in highschool , so this year got tough. I hated school so much that I missed at a day every week. Than things turned around for me. I got tested for ADD and i got medicine for it. Maybe you cant understand things because you have ADD? Maybe you can talk to your mom about getting tested. I have all A's and B's now. I also got a tutor in the subjects that i wasnt good in. Staying after is defiantly a must. Especailly if you cant do it.It shows the teacher you really do care about it and it shows your motivated. The teacher will like you if you do this.My teacher told me that today. Science is a pain! I have a science teacher who hasnt taught us anything. Im not like overexxagrating. He just doesnt teach. But we have quizzes and tests and of course a final coming up. So i have to teach myself. And although you dont want to talk to somone it will help. Stop being so stubborn. YOu need help from other people . Sorry this is so long. [ xeey99's advice column | Ask xeey99 A Question ]
chronicIronics answered Tuesday May 22 2007, 4:04 pm: Maybe if you didn't waste your time complaining so damn fucking much, you could focus on your schoolwork more. A quiz a week is nothing. So get off your ass, out from in front of the computer, and stop whining. If you can't handle one damn little quiz a week, you're not going to make it very far at all. jazziepink09 answered Tuesday May 22 2007, 1:11 pm: Take it EAZY. Your only in the freakin seventh grade . Don't quit. You wont survive if you quit school now. You can't get a job with a seventh grade education. You may not belive it but you need to know that stuff. Girls don't like slow boys. You just need a little extra help. Get a tutor or get someone in your class that knows what their doing to help you with your work. Remember knowledge is power without it your weak. You can make it.

christina answered Tuesday May 22 2007, 7:50 am: Ask your teachers for extra help. Try to find a kid who understands this well & ask if they can help you. Maybe try to get easier classes? I'm not sure if you're in advanced or not, but if you're in advanced, take an easier class. And a B minus isn't really that bad. I'd kill to have grades like that. Not only are you passing, but you're in the 80's.
If you don't talk to anyone about this, it's never going to get easier or better for you, so doing that would be the best. Talk to a teacher, talk to a counselor, talk to someone. School will not get easier if you let it defeat you. And you cannot drop out in 7th grade. In some states, you have to be at least 16. And even then it's not worth it because when you're 16, you'll be in 10th or 11th grade. There'll be no point in dropping out. Just stay in school, try your best, get some extra help & do your work. TheWallflower answered Tuesday May 22 2007, 1:16 am: First of all, there are special ways to study that can help you with school. Find a tutor and he/she can teach you some tricks.
Secondly, let's just assume you are the dumbest, non disabled person in the world. Even the dumbest nondisabled person in the world can make it past highschool and into college. All you need is a 2.0 average GPA to get into a college(although it will be a crappy college, but a college nonetheless). 2.0 is ridiculously easy. You can not show up for class but do all your homework and show up for the tests(and even fail them) and get a 2.0. Although i don't recommend you try to slide by the easily in highschool.
ANd why don't you want to talk to a teacher or parent? If you care that much about your future, you should be risking the embarrassment or awkwardness of asking for help. [ TheWallflower's advice column | Ask TheWallflower A Question ]
hinatalie answered Tuesday May 22 2007, 12:47 am: Please don't drop out. Maybe you could go to a tutor to get help. I was stuck in the same situation in sixth grade. No matter how hard I tried, I failed math and science. I got a tutor, and that helped SO much. I'm still not the greatest at either subject (I'm a junior in high school taking Algebra II and Chemistry), but I get by with a C average. I know, not the greatest, but it's better than giving up.
