Yes, I think it is possible to fall in love at a young age. I think that the reason why people say you can't is that so many people have lust or obsession with a person, and call it love. Love is a complex emotion that takes a long time to develop. It happens when you are happy with people's inside and outside, and you respect and trust them. You enjoy being with them, and you feel like you can tell them anything. If you have these feelings, then it could be love, no matter what age.
Just beware of thinking about them all the time. That is obsession, not love.

Yeah a lot of people find love at young ages. Adults can act stupid and always say that teens can be in love, but it actually CAN happen. Anything is possible.
