how do i motivate myself? my appetite to overeat seems to outweigh my desire to be skinny. but then after i binge i get so depressed that i'm not skinny.

Darkhelp66466 answered Monday May 21 2007, 10:15 pm: i think its more of a problem of filling your schedule with something other than eating. its okay to eat, just have smaller portions, but NEVER skip breakfast, it will make you gain weight. since there is no food in your stomach you body starts to consume muscle which ultimately slows down your metabolism. try filling your schedule with something other than eating. try putting on some running shoes and just running for atleast ten minutes a day. find some activity that you love doing. its good for you and it will take your mind off food. if you want something, go for it, you'll be glad you did. Go through celebrity magazines, fashion magazines, teen mags, etc.....
....cut out the girls that you adore and want to look like...
Hang them on the refrigerator, hang them in your bedroom everywhere, on your mirrors, in the bathroom, on your bedroom door-- EVERYWHERE...
That's you constant reminder and motivation to be like them!

Don't starve yourself, & don't throw up, but lose weight healthily. Stop eating junk food. Stop drinking soda, and stop eating fast food. Drink water. Eat fruits & veggies. Eat dairy products.
