I have a small lump (about half to 1 cm) which noticed within the last two days under my armpit. It's kinda sore, and its hard when I touch it, should I be worrying??
solidadvice4teens answered Thursday May 17 2007, 1:53 pm: Tell your parents and then visit a doctor a.s.a.p to have it throughly checked out. They will probably do a biopsy to figure out what the lump actually is. This is the only way you can find out and put your mind ease.
Would I worry? I would be concerned about it but would not jump to conclusions and start to fear things yet. It could be nothing serious but you still need to find out from your doctor. There's nothing to fear until you might have to cross that bridge.
Sometimes worrying and fear makes things more difficult to deal with and physically sick. It's best to just see your doctor or go to an emergency clinic and let them tell you what it is and how to handle it. In all liklihood it's benign. If its the cyst you may wanna go see a doctor because if you catch it before it fully develops he may get ird of it. Otherwise you will need surgery to have it removed. Ill give you a link on the cyst so you can figure to see a doctor or not.
