meghannnx answered Wednesday May 16 2007, 2:50 pm: well, i like bright colors. Definetly dont go with one color for the whole room. That would be boring. Id say two colors ATLEAST. i was in forever 21 a couple days ago and the colors of the store was beautiful. They where a light green, not really limey green but like a pretty light green. The other colors where like a light light light aqua ish color and a light tangarine orange. They dont sound pretty but it is extermly pretty. you said you wanted it too feel comofrtable, and when im comfortable i'm normally happy. Bright colors make people happy lol. But dont over do it with bright colors. With the orange, blue and greeen. My room is different shades of pink and its nice too. hope i helped you a little [ meghannnx's advice column | Ask meghannnx A Question ]

marybethO answered Wednesday May 16 2007, 1:27 pm: IF you like the "home warm" feeling for your room. go for warm side of colors. For example, light yellow (with lots white in it) and light green. (again, lots white in it) This combination is typical giving warm feeling of room. Also, you have have some warm brown or chocolate brown for the funitures or bed sheet to bring out the brightness of yellow and green. [ marybethO's advice column | Ask marybethO A Question ]
orphans answered Wednesday May 16 2007, 12:50 pm: Light pink with white trim would be nice. Maybe a floral border at the top or something. Or a pale sky blue would be nice, calm, relaxing, and welcoming. No matter what people say, I think light pink/ light rose is the best. Pale yellow might be good, but it might be a little excititng. Tan would be the best bet if you don't like pink. Or you could do either all white walls or all tan walls and one wall a color. Like your main wall, where you bed is at, you could paint it pink. My favorite: Put a wooden trim (piece of wood) horizontally on the center of your wall, all the way around. Paint the top white and the bottom pink.
Like this, you can't really tell, but the bottom is orange and the top is pink: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
