i need a really fun exciting birthday present for my mom. but its soooo hard getting her stuff: she doesnt use/like/wear the following -
make up
perfume
jewelry
music (ya shes really picky)
watches
cookbooks
clothes (she hates a lot of things)
shoes (SHE has to pick them out)
gift cards (she wont even let me buy them for my friends)
kitchen utensils (anything from silverware to bread machines)
pillows
stuffed animals
jars of macoroni
basicly she doesnt like a lot of things. =/
i am making her a birthday card though, but i want a store bought gift to go along with it.
i cant ask her what she wants, becuase shell say she doesnt need anything.
i want to get her something fun, maybe a bit useless, but something that she will really enjoy.
any random ideas?
*i already thought of making a video of our family and a scrapbook, but we dont have any pictures and videos.
just a tiny bit about her: she homeschools me and my brother (no gifts saying teacher, please!!!)spends 6 hours of her day drivng and watching my brother do gymnastics (his gym is 1.5 hours away) so i was thinking to get her something that will amuse her while she watches my brother.
geegollyHOLLY answered Wednesday May 16 2007, 12:29 pm: well, you could do something homemade like a painting, but if you need something that will keep her amused, you could go with a cd player and headphones with whatever type of music she likes. She can listen to her music with missing what things your brother does. Good luck! =] [ geegollyHOLLY's advice column | Ask geegollyHOLLY A Question ]
