LoveMeDo answered Friday May 18 2007, 8:00 am: Straightning for sure because with a blow dryer you don't have the direct contact that you get with a flat iron. So I'd suggest buying some kind of heat protecting straightning balm to put into your hair before blow drying, and then you won't need to use your straightner as much. I'd suggest KMS "Flat Out", but there are a ton! [ LoveMeDo's advice column | Ask LoveMeDo A Question ]
bluebabe48 answered Tuesday May 15 2007, 4:38 pm: OK first of all the answer is straightening hands down it causes a ton of damage! If you blow dry your hair there is not as much direct contact and if you use a nice comb you will get the same result with a little more volume. I'm not saying however that blow drying does not damage your hair it just is not as fast to ruin your hair. [ bluebabe48's advice column | Ask bluebabe48 A Question ]
orphans answered Tuesday May 15 2007, 4:26 pm: hey
straightening your hair, definitely. at least blowdrying it you can use a brush. but straighteners are really hot and burn your hair a lot faster.
so put it this way:
- blowdrying your hair straight for 60 minutes EQUALS straightening for 10 minutes.
dulce8nina answered Tuesday May 15 2007, 4:01 pm: straigthening your hair because the hot air is like so close that its killing it slowly and drying it up so i would have to say that blowdry it...its way easier=]! [ dulce8nina's advice column | Ask dulce8nina A Question ]
