Tonight my mom saw me trying to scratch my back. I had a terrible itch. She came over and scatched the itch on my back for me. And in a teasing voice said: ech, you are so bony; Should I be upset or just ignore it. She said it a kidding way.

Deffinatly don't go trying to gain weight over a comment such as that, just let it go, it's really nothing. [ imxkathleenx3's advice column | Ask imxkathleenx3 A Question ]

If it really makes you uncomfortable that she said that gain a pound or a few. But having a bony back is fine. Wouldn't you rather her say you have a bony back, then say you have a fat one ? lol. But she was just kidding so don't worry about it. [ clouded_bluee's advice column | Ask clouded_bluee A Question ]

Its not exactly fun to be teased but she wouldn't intentionally say something to hurt you. [Imagine my surprise when I sat on my ex-boyfriends lap and he told me I had a bony behind, I was taken aback a little but he didn't say it to be mean] Besides some people are just naturally that way. I'm the correct weight for my height but when I bend over, you can see my spine going up my back. It doesn't mean that I'm too thin. My mom always says that too, but everyone's body is different so I don't worry about it.
