Do you believe in ghosts?

Question Posted Sunday May 13 2007, 4:25 pm

my grandpa just died two days ago and lastnight i was awoken by my phone stnding up right and it was on but it was on hte hook when I went to bed and I think it was my grandpa, theres no question about it that ghosts are real because I have heard so many stories even by trusting adults. So please share your ghost stories or ghost encounters with me.

i was at a newyears party in georgia.
thers this haunted place called the newadems museam.
it was down the street from the lake where we had the party with fireworks.
the story was that theres this girl who died there from falling down the stairs at 9:04pm
(the musiem closes at 8:45 (go figure))
and every night at 9:04 you would hear screams of the girl falling down the stairs,
so me, my cousin, and friend opend a window, (its a poorish area no sucerity rele)
and went in about 9:00
i was hipervenalating haha
so we walked arround trying to find the stair case, and its almost 9:04finally we hear screaming and thumping and wood snaping
we held out breath and ran.
5 minutes later we went back
we found the stair case
and the railing had a big chunk missing and the piese of wood was on the floor.

no one was there at ALL
haha FREAKY i wish we would have ran to the stairs to see, but i almost had a heartattack haha

My cousin was telling me about a ghost in Puerto Rico about a month before we went down there for a vacation. There's this one road you drive down, and a girl died on that road. She comes out, and asks you for a ride. You need to stop for her. If you let her in, she'll sit in with you for about 2 minutes & then she'll just disappear. If you pass her by, she'll end up sitting with you anyways. So, we put it to the test & we ended up stopping for her. Basically, she sat with us [while I was freaking out that there was some dead girl sitting in the car with me] & then she just faded away.

my aunt kati was my best friend for as long as i can remember.we did everything together, but she died painfully in december.she was best friends with everybody in my family, and everyone cried terribly at her funeral.she visits our house all the time, and we can always tell.heres one story where we knew she was with us:
she was hairdresser until about a month before she died.and she did the styling right out of her house.i met one a her customers many times while sleeping over her house, but my mom hadnt.well every easter my mom goes to one specific chocolate store that my aunt loved.well my aunts customer was tiny--about 4'6" and 70 pounds (very old).she was walking into the parking lot of the store and it was windy.my mom didnt know who she was but she decided to help her because she was getting blown away.she later found out that it was my aunts customer--we all knew she was there.but i know she is here with us everyday. just things she loved happened, etc.and my sister went to a psychic and the psychic said that my aunt is very in touch with us.so ya there true, but its kind of a good thing.its like not really having to say goodbye.but i understand that is is kind of scary.

My Uncle died in the Rhode Island nightclub fire. I was asleep one night, and he was obsessed with Scooby Doo. While I was asleep, I had this wind up scooby doo machine. I woke up in the middle of the night, and it was going off. I walked over to it, and turned it back off, but once I went back to sleep it turned back on, and my door opened to get out of my room. Ghosts are a strange thing, and sometimes it is hard not to believe.
