k heres the truth.

when people become anorexic, the do lose weight.
because since the body isint getting any nutrition it sucks up your fat and uses it to keep going, it happened to me, but not because i was anorexic, i was a diabetic and it was like i wasnt eating.

so i lost like 30 pounds, but then like once you eat like the littlest thing youll gain the weight all back.

so i would reccomend not doing that and just lose weight the healthy weigh, eating good, drinking water, exercizing and youll be healthier.

if you have any questions just ask, good luck.

wow, I wouldn't do that and just to let you know you won't succeed at it. and if you don't eat for a long time but then give in later your body will hold those calories and you won't be able to burn them off so the net result is gaining weight. Excersise and burn more calories then you eat. You have to burn 3,000 calories to lose a lbs.

That is called fasting, dear. Fasting is not a good thing to do...your body needs fuel and energy just sleep--it can't run on water.

Eventually, you'll lost some weight but it will stop and you'll gain it all back because

1)Your body will start storing fat because it wants to prepare itself because it's not getting any food.
2)You'll end up eating large amounts of food soon.

Don't cut yourself off from food and starve yourself. You'll get nonstop headaches, dizziness, nausea, and you'll pass out.

Eat healthy foods and exercise. That is the best way to lose weight.

not only is this an extremely unhealthy way to lose weight, but you will also eventually gain it all back. instead, eat healthy and exerciseeee.

First of all, it depends on how much weight you can lose healthily. For example, if you're 5 ft 6 and 125 pounds, you can lose that weight, but it'll be in muscle and bone weight and possibly even your own brain. your fat reserves will barely be tapped.

If you're 5 ft 6 and 225 pounds, then yes you will be able to lose 15 pounds.

However, I really really would not recommend starving yourself to lose weight. You'll simply gain all the weight back once you eat again because starving yourself screws up your metabolism. you'll gain 5 pounds after every meal. If you exercise, eat healthy, and drink a lot of water, you could lose weight by graduation and also help your metabolism.
