uisforukelele answered Saturday May 12 2007, 3:20 pm: the fat has more volume per pound. for example, you could compare identical twins who both weigh the same, but one twin has no muscle and one twin has no fat. even though they both weigh the same amount, the twin with the most fat will be the chunkiest. that's because a pound of muscle weighs more than a pound of fat. lets say that a guy is 180lbs and has a lot of excess fat on him.
another guy, could weight the same. but can have a six pack or whatever because of muscle.
