i would say that trying to be a "rocker" would make you a total poser. you can't just change the way you are to be like by others. it's called being a follower. if all of these people said that, "hey, crack is cool! school is whack! let's go do some drugs! we'll all like you more if you do them!" you can't just do stuff because you think it'll make you more popular. usually that makes you LESS popular.
Neuronautas answered Friday May 11 2007, 10:24 pm: If you turn into a "rocker", people are still not going to like you because they're going to see that you are just changing to fit in. That's what you call a poser. Be yourself... Not even those "rocker" kids are being themselves.. It's a stupid trend to fall into anyway, so why would you want to? ductape_n_roses answered Friday May 11 2007, 10:04 pm: Be yourself. If you're going to change yourself into something else so that people like you, you're not being true to anyone and you're not going to be happy. Be yourself and have people like you for you. That's all I can say. If you want to give me a low rating, go ahead but I'm telling you now that if you're going to mold yourself into something you're not just to make people like you, you're going to end up unhappy. You're going to get a lot of criticism and negative comments towards you too. Plus, labels are for cans. Anyways, give me a 1 if you want but don't deny that I told you so. No one can be happy by lying to themselves [ ductape_n_roses's advice column | Ask ductape_n_roses A Question ]
