I'm sorry, dear, but you can't make someone like you. All you can do is be yourself and let him discover that he does like you. But maybe he doesn't and it's not personal. Sometimes we are just looking for something specific that another person can't provide. Some day within the next couple of years (I know, that sounds like forever) you will probably meet someone whom you don't have to convince because he will immediately see how awesome you are.

I wish there were a secret to getting someone to like us. If there were, though, a lot of us would end up with people we don't have anything in common with. We'd marry the wrong person. So it's better to let things happen naturally, without trying to make puzzle pieces fit when they don't belong together.

Ahh, well, you can't exactly MAKE anyone like you. But I'm sure you've heard all that before, so I won't waste either one of our time explaining that to you.
You can always flirt with him- if he tells a joke, laugh at it; always look nice; don't be needy or insecure about yourself; always try to be interested in what he has to say; if you have a choice to hang out with him or one of his friends, hang out with him;
OR, you could do like my best friend beth did, and she was all, 'oh yeah, by the way.. I like you.' and by the end of the day, he asked her out. :] It was super duper cute.

You can't necessarily make him like you as more than a friend but you can sway his mind into thinking of you as a girl instead of just a 'buddy'. When you're talking to him touch his arm or squeeze his knee to express your excitement when you're telling a story. Hug him and breathe on his neck. No, I'm not saying blow on his neck just put your head to where you're breathing on his neck normally. When you pull away he'll think of your lips being that close to his neck and he'll wonder what it would feel like to actually have them there. If something sad or upsetting happens go tell him about it. He'll feel that you have confidence in him and will try to be your hero. If you go to kiss his cheek, kiss the corner of his mouth instead.

Okay, when you're hanging out with him alone and just playing a game or shooting hoops or something 'guyish' like that, make sure he knows you're a girl. Make sure you don't let him win a game or anything. Guys respect a girl who can hold her own. But they also like to come to the rescue, so if you have a problem, ask for his opinion. He'll like that you trust his judgement, so he'll come to you if he needs help.

Tell him that one of your girlfriends remarked that you and him would make a great couple and see how he responds. If his response is positive, as in saying that maybe you would, say that maybe you should be. If he responds in a negative way, as in that you are just friends, he could either not be into you, or just doesn't want to feel like a jackass if you don't feel the same way.

So, take a risk and either tell him you like him in a romantic way, or ask him how he feels about you, girlfriend potential, or just a friend?

Hope it works out for you!!

make sure you let him know how you feel and hopefully he'll tell you he feels the same. otherwise, stick with being good friends. its not worth ruining a good friendship!
