why are pimple red?

personally i think it maybe becasue AND THIS IS WHAT I THINK the blood under the pimple.. cuz theres a hole in your skin where the puss & such goes so hm. idk.

I always thought it was because the skin is stretched, irritated, etc. Plus, people tend to pick them, rub them, squeeze them, etc. Do that to ANY part of your body long enough and it'll turn a nice red hue.


Visine gets the red out of pimples, as well as eyes- really! Try it sometime.
