Stomach bug.

I got a stomach virus on Friday. I already had to miss practice, a car wash, and religon. I really don't want to miss school. Pepdo isn't doing such a great job. Any way to feel better?

ok try 2 stay under lots of covers to sweat off tha fever ya know and dont get up lie down and drink alot of fluids ok

hey

i just want to add to the person under me:

drink FLAT soda. the bubbles might upset your stomach & make you burp, causing more acidity. do NOT drink orange juice / any type of juice.

chicken noodle soup is good, and lots of liquids. jello is good too. i don't suggest crackers with lots of salt and stuff. NO CHEESE, MILK, YOGURT. nothing thick or difficult to digest, like sushi or steak! grilled chicken is okay for a light dinner.

chicken broth is good too. toast is okay. not too much butter / margarine.

pepto should help, just give it some time.

take naps :]

i get a stomach virus every few months, and they usually go away in a few days. take it light. don't force yourself to eat stuff you feel uncomfortable eating. for example:
monday - really sick. take it light.
tuesday - better. take it light.
wednesday - perfectly fine. TAKE IT LIGHT! do not eat something really heavy - you'll just get sick all over again!

As long as you are sure it's a stomach virus and nothing more serious (like everyone has it and it was likely you caught it)...

...then drink 7-Up, (not Sprite or Mountain Dew)...eat saltine crackers to settle any upset (recommended by doctors for pregnant women in first trimester with morning sickness) and eat light soups (no junk in it) and eat Jello.

This all eases the stomach, hydrates you, gives nutrients and settles the upset and discomfort.
