I actually feel that love isn't what you make it online, on the phone, or through text message.. its what you make it in person. When you're with someone you love in person- its much deeper and greater than loving them over the phone or on AIM. Honestly- don't feel that you need to be as loving, but to answer your question, just try to say what you normally would in person to him. Talk about new and interesting things. Talk about anything and everything you can think of. The sky really is the limit here. And if you're feeling embarrassed to just say random things to spark a conversation, don't- he's your boyfriend and he will accept it.

It sounds stupid but ill text my fiance randomly with a "Baaaaaaaaaaaaaby your so perfect" It isn't just the guys job to be a sweet talker, if anything I have always felt it is easier to express emotion through IM.
