why is she treating me so bad??
I have this best friend. We have been together since we were in day care (before we were in school) Recently she has been really mean. She tells me to shut up constantly. I'm not the smartest person (common sense wise) and I think she gets annoyed with how dumb I am. I really can't help it. I'm not one of those girls who is really dumb because they make themselves be dumb. I don't get things but I don't say I don't get them it's just that she has known me so long she knows when I don't get things. Anywho...she bosses me around all the time. She tells me I'm dumb. She corrects everything I say. When I try to talk to her you can tell she is annoyed if I even say hi. I'm not soooo dumb all the time. I really am book smart. I have all A's and I'm sitting 4th in my class of 561. What do you think it is? How can I talk to her?

I had a friend like that. Sounds like someone has an insecurity that she is taking out on you. Don't back down. Next time she does it, stop her, for once YOU tell HER how it is. That you aren't dumb, she is being a bully, the best way to stop a bully is to stand up to them.Some people are book smart some people are street smart. If you have all A's you arent stupid. You need to make her understand that.She will have a whole new outlook when you correct her for once.

if you want to maintain the friendship with her i would suggest other friends to go to so that she doesn't always get annoyed at you for even talking to you.
maybe give her some time to cool off from whatever happened to her.
