Yesterday night i threw up. I'm not really sure why but it was really terrible.
Ever since then, i haven't really had much of an appetite. It makes me feel kind of sick to look at certain foods. SO i haven't really eaten much today at all. Some goldfish, ginger ale, and a soup at hand.
It's giving me a really bad headache not eating very much, so i'm really just looking for some light, non salty foods that will still fill me up without making me feel sick. Thanks.

In this case, since you clearly need to eat something healthy and filling, it's best to start small, but have something that'll fill you up.
Try eating simple foods that are rich in protein. - and have complete meals.
Snacks- try eating fruits and veggies, instead of junk food snacks, or foods with little nutritional value. You can even have some soup between meals, it'll make you feel a lot better. And something that is light, filling and healthy...and that gives you energy: bananas (also full of potassium). OH, and since you feel sort of weak and really need nutrients, try having an Ensure nutritional shake...it's full of vitamins and nutrients.. I drank it every day after I had major appendix surgery (doctor recommended it)
Lunck/Dinner- Stick to something light, healthy, and full of protein and nutrients-- maybe some chicken breast, soup, salad...keep healthy, and don't eat anything oily or spicy, it'll make you feel worse.
Breakfast-- it is the most important meal of the day. Stick to whole grains (toast, cereal, etc). and even if you don't like it, have some oatmeal.. it's easy on the stomach and is very filling. OH, and another thing, take a multivitamin.
I'm not a nutritionist or anything, but hope that these suggestions will still help you out..some of
the main things to remember: avoid anything oily/spicy...after I had surgery, my doctor told me the same thing. Eat lots of fruits/veggies, soup, protein (chicken, beans, eggs, etc). And don't skip meals..it'll make you feel a lot worse and will take your energy away.

luvbug555 answered Tuesday May 1 2007, 2:01 am: to me it sounds like your really sick.
Mayb you hav the stomach flu? you should take your temperature and maybe go to the doctor.
its not good to throw up randomly!
you should probably drink Orange Juice or Gator Aid or somthing. to get fluids in your body.
and eat saltines or crackers or wheat thins. they should stay in your system.
Grahm Crackers maybe.
ohh making me hungry!! yeah anywayss, that should be good!
sizzlinmandolin answered Tuesday May 1 2007, 1:39 am: You probably have a headache because you are dehydrated. Make sure you are drinking a lot. Actual water and juice will do the best for you instead of soda and stuff. It's hard for me to sit here and figure out what will make you sick or not, but whenever I was sick I could always eat rice cakes. If you get the right kind they can be pretty good. I believe they are usually found in the bread isle. They are really healthy for you and should fill you up pretty good. The goldfish and soup were a good choice if that all went down well. I hope you feel better soon! <3 [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
