Prom Problems!!!

Question Posted Wednesday April 25 2007, 12:38 am

Ok So prom is coming up soon. I'm going with this girl because i dont have a date. She and i are friends so its mutual. I'm upset because wanted to have a date with someone i liked but that never happened (many reasons). i feel that i'm going to go all out for prom and have a lousy time. i want it to be a special time for me, because I'm graduating soon.

How can i make this day "special" for me

If your other friends dont have dates go in a group. Even if they do have dates. Prom is all about getting out of school and having a great time with your friends. Just try not to think about guys and this is a friend thing.

So here it is again in simpiler form.
1. Go in a group of all your friends, dates and all.
2. Dont let anything ruin your night - Guys, enemies, mean friends, anybody.
3. Have a blast

The best way to make ANY day special, not just your prom night, is to charge into it with your chin held high and a positive outlook.

I'm being dead serious here.

For example, say one day you were out walking, and it started raining.

Either you could curse the gods for ruining your hair and run the rest of the way, slip in a puddle, bash your head and die.

OR you could smile, laugh and enjoy it.

How often do you get to go walking in the rain?

So, if someone spills a drink on you, laugh (Being tipsy helps your temper a LOT, but no getting drunk) and take a few funny photos of you and your friends covered in unknown substances.

Avoid anyone who looks like they're grouchy, unhappy or just generally bored, and go hang out with some preppy blonde cheerleaders. (No offence to preppy blonde cheerfleaders)

You see where I'm going with this?

You'll only have fun if you WANT to have fun.

And if you're a hopeless romantic who was hoping to meet the love of your life then run away and elope and have some darling little children....

I suggest you sue Disney.

From watching movies, you the idea that proms are Really special.Nuh...proms are crappy. Pretty much always. A small percentage of people are having an OK time at proms. I got the worst experiences from Proms. This girl got gum in her hair, this other girl broke up, some girl got drunk and puked on a boy she just made out with FLOL!!!
You just show up with your hommiez and a limo (a Hummer with Jacuzzi inside maybe?)or maybe just you and your friend, dress the best you can,get a little bit tipsy with all the school,be a little extra outgoing that you normally are, hit on some girls.
Do not pick on the schools bully, you ll get your ass kicked. You wont have a lousy time. It might be crappy but you wont.
