i just got my first period on saturday, and the weird thing about it is that the blood doesn't come out on the pad or in my underwear, only if i wipe or put a tampon in. does anyone know why this happens? thank youu!

its because you just started your period. it will get heavier in a month or so, but i dont recommend using tampons until the fow is heavier. stick with pantiliners or pads for now

First of all, congratulations on getting your period. Well enjoy this while you can. Your flow is light because you just got it. As time goes on you'll get a heavier {and more irritating} flow. Hope i've helped!!!

Your flow just isn't heavy. It's not a bad thing. It will probably get heavier as the months go on, but that's completely normal. The heavier the flow the better, trust me.

this is normal. you just didn't give it enough time for it to get on your pad. if you hadn't wiped or put on a tampon it would have gotten on the pad eventually.
the blood during your period is thick and doesn't just like 'pour' out lol.
