whatever you do, do NOT eat fast food, like mc donalds or BK cause its not good at all for you. you could try special k, its completely safe cereal. you eat it 2x a day replacing 2 meals. also, try organic food. my mom uses like almost ALL organic food and its so healthy and it tastes good. stay away from food such as oreos, chips ahoy, cheeze its, and stuff like that. deff. stay away from potato chips. eat lots of fruit and veggies, and youll see results within the month.

It depends on if you're going on a certain diet or just cutting down and eating healthier.

If you do Atkins, it would be a lot different types of foods than just cutting down on the things you're eating. If you want a structured diet, you can research them on google or in a book store to see which would work well for you.

In general, if you just don't want to consume as many calories, here are some guidelines:

-1200-2000 calories a day
-At least 8-10 glasses of water a day
-Watch your portion sizes
-Five small meals a day
-Get a work out regimen (at least 30 minutes about 5 days a week)
-Most fruits and vegetables have negative calories, so they're fair game
-Add in a healthy amount of protein (meat, cheese, eggs) and dairy (try 2% or skim milk)
-Whole grains are the healthiest kinds
-Watch your intake of sugar, fat, calories, and sodium
