Question Posted Friday April 20 2007, 7:39 pm

sorry i didn't really know what category to put this in, but i have these flats that i LOVE but i stupidly ran throgh a mucky puddle with them and they got all wet and muddy. like SOAKED. and this was last night, and they still are really wet. is there any way i can salvage them from being ruined? they're pretty muddy and grassy and wet so should i soak them, put them in the dryer, or what?

LM answered Friday April 20 2007, 8:25 pm:
Wash them in warmish soapy water. Then blowdry them on a cool setting until theyre like, semi-dry. After that, just leave them somewhere dry and let them air-dry. I'm sure they'll be just fine. Putting them in the dryer could bang them out of shape, so only use that as a last resort.
