Just be like "dad can i get a myspace. its totally safe cause i can put it on private to where only people i know can look ay my myspace. also just be like i really want one" and everyone has one, just keep asking him, eventually he will break down and let you get one

Tell him you have something to show him and bring it up on the computer. Ask him to check it out and research the site because you are interested in starting an account.

Explain to your dad that you will make your myspace private, keep it clean, and won't put any personal info on it. Take on responsibilities to show your dad that you can handle it.

Be like.
"Hey dad, so, what do you think of myspace?"
Then ask him if it would be okay to have one.
Thats how I asked my parents, and they didn't like the idea at first, but I explained the safety you can put on there[ like changing your city, and setting it to private ] and things.
