Both of these can cause heat damage, but I would think you would get more damage using a straightener daily, than one time and it's permantely straight. So I recommend permantely straightening your hair, but they are very expensive. Usually $120-$180.

perm straightttt=D
trust me, it's worth it.
before i got my hair permed straight, i always use to straighten my hair every morning and it sucked, because it wasn't healthy looking and you can tell it looked damaged. i got it permed straight like 3 months ago for free though, because my uncle is a hair stylist=D i really think it's worth it. i don't know what that other girl is talking about for not washing your hair for a week, because you only have to wait 2 days. hope i helped and good luck with it!

you can shower after 48 hours not
a week. and i think you should get it
i mean i can do so much with my hair
if your patient you can curl it but it
takes a long time lol. if you straighten it
everyday it will be all dead and nasty when you get it permantly straighten it looks and feels SOOO much healthier

take it from someone that knows, get it perm.straight :]]

i think its a better idea to just straighten it everyday. perming your hair straight sucks because then if one day you decide youre sick of it and you want to curl it or make it wavy it wont work. i also heard that when you get it permed straight you cant wash your hair for like a week! eww! it is also much less expensive to just straighten it everyday and if you get a good straighter, like a chi, it wont take very long. good luck!

straighten it every day dead ends you can cut but once the perm grows out you'll have curly on top and straight on bottom my friend did it and hated it afterwards
