You are all the pills for the month but 7 or so don't have any hormones in them so you get your period the week you take those pills. They are usally a different color than the rest of the pills [ sweetascandy7364's advice column | Ask sweetascandy7364 A Question ]

If you want to stop menstruating, try Depo Provera. It's an injected contraceptive, lasts 3 months, more effective than any contraceptive pill, and stops you from menstruating. [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]
