Vagina issues!

Question Posted Thursday April 12 2007, 1:30 pm

So I'm going to describe this the best i can, but i'm not sure if you'll get it. On the left lip of my vagina, like on the underneather part, it was hurting the other day and its still hurting so i went to go look at it and it feels like there is a tiny hard ball like thing inside of it. When i touch it, i feel a bit of discomfort but it doesn't actually hurt. Also, its not very big though.

And i'm starting to get what looks like the chicken pox around my bikini area but i have already had them, they don't itch or anything but they are just red dots. So help?

Regarding the bump on your labia, take a look at this website. There are glands there called Bartholin's glands. They can sometimes get clogged or infected or can grow cysts. Usually you don't need to do anything unless they become big or painful.

Most of us get that at some point or other.

The bikini area bumps could be from shaving, chafing, or from heat rash. Or they could be pimples, as someone else said.

Best of luck to you.

If you shave down there it would explain the red dots. If you do it's probably nothing but razor burn. The bump could be nothing more than a zit. If it has a white tip it probaly is just a zit, if your not sure use a hand mirror and a flashlight to take a peek. this however is all best case scenerio and assuming your not sexually active. If you are sexually active and or you dont shave get to your gyno/ doctor pronto, because if your having sex you may have contracted an std. If your not active and it apears to be a zit to you, give it 7 - 10 days to go away, if it doesent, again with the doc.

Its probably just a hair bump but if you are sexually active you should have it checked if it persists or spreads.
