15/f about 105lbs. i want to gain about 10-15lbs because my arms are extremely twig like. my lower body is fine but i could still use a little more meat on my legs. are there any weight gaining bars or drinks that really work. no organic stuff that im going to have to import from half way across the world just some things you can find in a supermarket.
Additional info, added Thursday April 12 2007, 11:22 am: eating carbs and fatty foods doesn't work. my metabolism is so high that i could practically just walk to my room and burn off the calories so i need something else.. Spoolie21 answered Thursday April 12 2007, 11:00 am: To healthfully gain weight, you should eat foods high in carbohydrates like breads, pastas, or potatoes, but don't eat too much fat or sugary foods. Eat alot and take second helpings, but be careful because eating too much and expand your stomach's ability to hold food. Eat nutritously and start a training program to help build muscle.
Hope this helps, Good Luck! :)
Maybe you could try goign to a vitamin store or health store, I'm not really sure what they call hem, but my friend plays football and wanted to gain weight so he went to this vitamin supplement store and bought a weight gainer. Its a powder that you mix into milk or water, and it helps you gain weight...Sorry I couln't help more. [ Spoolie21's advice column | Ask Spoolie21 A Question ]
