can't "wake up"

Question Posted Wednesday April 11 2007, 8:35 pm

Hi, lately I've been the opposite of insomnia. Meaning I won't and can't wake up. Like, I will wake up and be wide awake, but when I start to move, or sit up I fall back asleep. I haveal tried everything I can think of: going to sleep earlier, not eating late, thinking of things, excersizing before bed, sleeping with no electronics on (t.v., lights, etc.), and the opposite of all of those things. What else can I do?

ps. I have been almost late for school 3 times now!

I know what you should do. Try speaking to yout parents and get a doctor round.Because if your late for school your education! and then you should definetly go to a doctor because they might know what you dont know and your parents about it and they can find out exactly whats up

You might have a sleeping disorder. You should see your doctor so they can figure out what's wrong with you.

Stress can have an effect like this on your sleeping. I had gone through a phase of the same thing where I would end up being asleep for most of the day andcouldn't understand why. I think the best thing you an do is try speaking to your doctor as it might be a sleeping disorder of some kind or at the very least your doctor may be able to suggest a few things that could help.
