I am a 19 year old female trying to lose 20 pounds. I am pretty set on healthy eating plans, and I do 4-6 days of 40 min cardio a week (usually elliptical with a mix of bike, or running sometimes) but i want to incorporate weight training into this. I don't want to bulk up, I just want to have slight toning and less "jiggle." Would 3 days of lower body and 2 days of abs/upper body be a good plan? Suggestions are needed!
ductape_n_roses answered Sunday April 8 2007, 7:26 pm: Yes but vary it from time to time because your body will get use to a regular routine. So switch it up with different exercises/duration/vigor/routine so your body will be more likely to burn more fat =)
Eating is a very important part too so don't minimize the importance of it!!
