emotion for monologue? ok for english we have to memorize at least 30 lines from Romeo and Juliet. Mine is Act 4 scene 3 lines 14-58. it's where juliet's about to drink the sleeping potion the Friar gave her. i really want to do a good job on it but i don't know what emotion i should read it in. (scared, upset, depressed?) thanks in advance!!

tina duh was right. try a worried/scared sort of look, but also mix in a bit of eagerness and hopfulness, hopeful the potion will work and that everything will be alright, and because she knows she and romeo will be together forever after this. (how little she knew. REMEMBER! juliet did not know she and romeo would soon be dead. you must act like you can't wait fot it to be over.) i hop i helped! ]
In that scene she is worried about the potion not going to put her to sleep, and she is worried that it could kill her. And she is scared that Tybalt {her cousin} might come back to haunt her for being with Romeo. So she is both worried and scared.
Good luck =] ]
During that act & scene, Juliet is scared [mostly worried, but scared] because she doesn't think the potion will work, it'll kill her, or she'll wake up before Romeo comes. Do it in a worried/frightened tone for the best type of outcome. Good luck! ]
