this is a little weird, but what percentage of people do you think shave "down there"? would you suggest it

I think that it's quite common for teenage females to shave. As women get older, though, I would suggest that less and less women shave.

Many people shave because they want to be seen in a sexual way by others, or because they are not confident with their own bodies. (Of course, some shave because they like it!)

As people gain in confidence and experience, they realise that shaving actually isn't needed to have a good relationship with another person or themselves - and they also realise that it's not as common as they once thought.

Shaving is a big commitment in terms of upkeep and possible discomfort from razor burn. Some people choose to just shave their bikini line (what's not covered up by panties/bathing suit bottom), and some people trim their hair. Many do nothing.

I notice a lot of people immediately say a guy won't like you if you don't shave - how ridiculous. If a guy is basing his feelings towards you depending on the amount of pubic hair you have or haven't got, I would suggest the relationship probably isn't worth much.

I wish you the best.

if you've never shaved before, its probably really long so before you take a razor to it, i suggest you just cut off the majority of it with one or two snips of a scissors. that way when the blade gets down there, it cant get caught in the mess. make sure you use soap or shaving cream really good down there to smoothen things out first (it will help reduce bumps a little) and right after you get out of the shower, use a moisturizing lotion right away.. it really does make a difference. expect to get razor burn the first few times..it'll probably be uncomfortable and maybe hurt a little but i swear it goes away as you learn how to do it better and your body gets more used to it. sure, it's your decision whether you do it or not but i say go for it! hmm..i'm assuming you're a girl and almost all girls do. if you arent ready for it now, i could pretty much bet that you would be in a year lol

definately do it. no guy likes a girl with fur.
Shaving will probably give you razor burn for the first few times, but it will get better. And you will feel a lot better if you do - as soon as you are comfortable with the change. try to avoid putting moisturiser on right after shaving too.

I think about 80% of the world does. I would suggest it, but it's your own decision.

It's not weird at all, I shave:]. My mom has even gotten Electolysis done down there, my step mom shaves, and most of my friends do too. Go for it! Just be careful <33

I'm not sure there's a percentage, or at least that I'm familiar with. I think at least a quarter, maybe even half. I don't think it's a bad thing to do at all, just make sure your careful and when you're done, change the blade.
