i need to adopt my friend
alright a couple days ago my friend came with me and my mom said she can live with us because she has no home and her dad abuses her and kicked her out
well she was living with her friend and she didn't want to live there anymore because they were about to kick her out anyways so she came over my house to live with me and her dad called the cops and reported her as a runaway
the cops tracked me down with my phone and they took her to westcare which is like a child haven and they said if her dad doesn't want her then they'll call my mom to come get her and have her dad sign the papers so she can be the foster parent of her.
shes like my best friend and they still havent' called
she told me that she hates it there and shes miserable and she wants me to come get her today
I don't know if they'll give her over to my mom so I have to go there today with her to go get my friend I really have to.
help please.

I don't think many of us will be able to help you. The place she's at now will have more information available for you.
If her dad's abusive (and it can be proven) she'll be put in the custody of someone else- probably your mom, like they mentioned.
In the meantime, visit her as much as possible. Knowing someone cares about her will mean a lot right now.
