ipod help.. quick please!

my itunes is all of a sudden saying that my ipod is corrupted? and it says i need to restore it, but that will erase all the songs i have and i cant do that. whats wrong and is there another way to fix it?

I had the same problem, I actually went to an apple store but the guy just shrugged me off because I used Windows. I had to restore it, sorry :( Hopefully you find a better way to fix it.

Restoring your ipod doesn't erase all your songs, it's just like refreshing your ipod.
When mine froze I had to do that, trust me it will work :]

why cant you do it?
if you have all the songs right there, you might as well just let it do what it wants to do, and put all the songs back on

and if you cant do that, go to ipodhelp.com or something like that
