beckss answered Sunday April 1 2007, 9:31 pm: Stop taking it. If it has side effects for people that smoke, and you're one of them then stop taking it can be bad and you dont want to take that risk.
Or...
Stop smoking! Not that easy obviously, so.. I advice you to stop taking that birth control. [ beckss's advice column | Ask beckss A Question ]

S_C answered Friday March 30 2007, 4:49 pm: Stop smoking or stop the birth control? Either way you should stop one of the two if there are risks for smokers.
Smoking is the better of the two choices. No offense meant, but smoking's kind of gross. At least kissing people who smoke is, and being around people who smoke because it gets in your face and it's kinda nasty.
Seeing that you'll still need something to help regulate your period (That is if you choose to stop the birth control rather than stop smoking) you should contact your physician for another option. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
