yes or no? preferably guys, but grls can answer, too

Question Posted Thursday March 29 2007, 6:38 pm

if your ex asked you to go to the movies with her/him - as friends - and you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, would you still say yes or no?

i'm thinking of asking my ex to go to the movies during our spring break, which is in about 2 weeks, but i don't know if he would say yes or no since he has a girlfriend. all i really wanna do is see him since i haven't seen him for like, 2 years. so i was wondering what YOU would say.

thanks.

haha awkwardness =] i think that it depends on the break up if it was on good or bad conditions and may be not a movie because you can't really talk you know? i don't think you should invite his girlfriend because tat'll make it even more awkward and if you say anything around her it might get all twisted and she might try to ruin your likfe but that's just my thought...

well there's no harm in wanting to see him again, but i'm sure his girlfriend won't be too happy with it. but if you decide to do so, i wouldn't invite him to the movies.. because that usually implies the fact that it's a date.. invite him to your house, or a get together with friends- yours and his. but make sure he knows everyone. then, if that goes well, invite him on something less casual- like going out to lunch, or hanging at your house. good luck =)

If you really want it to be on a friends only basis, why not invite his girlfriend too. Go out for dinner or something with them before the movie so you have a chance to introduce yourself to the girlfriend and establish that you really just want to catch up. I'm sure that would be fine for both of them.

depends on if you are on good terms or not. movies are probably a bad idea though, especially since after two years, youll probably want to catch up, and you kinda cant in a movie. invite him out to lunch or something.
