homework help, please there's this one science question, and i think i have an idea, but i'm not completely sure.
which of these is an example of a completet and balanced chemical equation and why?
a. H20 --> H2 + O2
b. NaCl + H2O
c. Fe + S --> FeS
d. CaCO3

it's (c). an equation is when you have something on one side equal to something on the other side. (b) and (d) don't work because it's not an equation - there's nothing on the other side. (a) isn't balanced because because you have one oxygen on one side and two oxygens on the other. in (c) you have one sulfur and one iron on one side, and one sulfur and one iron on the other, so it is a balanced equation. ]

I think it's C.
It's the only logical answer. It has 1 Fe and 1 S on both sides of the equation. It's been a while since I took chem, so it might not be right... ]
