Ok. so i get like a lot of discharge.. to the point where i feel like i have to where a tampon almost everyday to make sure it doesnt like "overflow" and this week i tried using pantiliners and they didnt work to well... what's wrong with me.. what do i do???
its_melissa_DuH answered Friday March 23 2007, 6:11 pm: don't worry, you're perfectly normal! but never use a tampon while you're not on your period, you can get TSS. if the pantiliners you are using now aren't working, then change them more often or get a new brand. try Carefree liners, they work really well! make sure to bring a few with you at school and change them during the day. hope i helped and good luck with it!
christina answered Friday March 23 2007, 6:05 pm: First off, discharge is normal. Some girls get a lot, and some get hardly any. But every girl gets it; so there's NOTHING wrong with you. Pantiliners work wonders, and even though they didn't work for you, don't be discouraged. You shouldn't really wear a tampon when you don't have your period because of TSS. Anyways, try some thicker pantiliners because thin ones might not work too well for you. But don't get the super uncomfortable thick ones. Get the ones you can't feel. My gyno is one of my best friends! It's a guy (most men gynos are more gentle than women) and he's been friends with my family for a little over ten years now. Not only do I visit him but so does my mom and most of her friends. He's helped me with everything I need to know. So I'd definately reccomend taking a visit to your local gyno. :] [ sanderuhh's advice column | Ask sanderuhh A Question ]
