ok so my high school is having a junior prom for the first time in a long time. i'm trying to think of ways to get my junior class to go! A good amount of people want to go but then there's the people who don't mostly because they think "nobody" will go. Whats a good idea to get the amount of people who go to homecoming to go to junior prom? we're putting up posters and spreading the word around , but whats a way to get the students siked? oh and does anyone have ideas for easy fundraising? we're thinkiing about t-shirt sales and bake sales but others? thanks!!
what if you gave awards for special things. for example- matching couples, or brightest colored, or prettiest/handsomest queen/king
idk but it just came to mind.
as for the fundraising, the t-shirts and bake sales sound great! what our high school did for shirts, was short or long sleeved black shirts that had a printed front that looks like a Tux. hehe it looks amazing! tonz of people bought them.
be creative.. like cool hats, or wristbands. choose cool things that people would want to wear in school or other places.
TEENAGExHEARTS answered Friday March 23 2007, 4:40 pm: if your school has enough money get a band to play. that will be sure to get more people to come. or make make a contest (besides king and queen) that will get people to nominate their friends and want them to show up.
just decorate the school and put up tons of flyers to get people excited :]
but i wouldn't try selling t-shirts, i'm not too sure that a lot of people will by their school t-shirts. you could try bake sales, they always go over good. or you can try selling raffles? get local stores and parents to donate "prize" and then sell tickets for $.50 or $1.
