thats fine! a lot of girls don't know, or dont know how to wash down there.
under running water in the shower, just clean between your lips and to the sides. this removes discharge and any funky smells. if you have your period, just be gentle and clean really well (you might even want to go "in" to clean better, but do this before you get any soap involved)
