I'm so miserable and I don't want to live anymore

I'm a teenager who is single and completely miserable and hating it. I can't get a boyfriend because i'm so overweight. Everyone is automatically unattracted to me because I'm so fat. No one wants to date a fatass like me.


I want to commit sucide, but I don't want to have the pain. And I'd be afraid to anyway. So what should I do?

I've seen several therapists and counselors about my depression but they don't help.

hmm.. im really sorry taht your going through this kind of pain.. i'll try to help you the best that i can...
you say you've been to therapists, but have you tried any medication for your depression?? (judging form what you said here, im pretty sure you do, indeed have, clinical depression)

lithium&zoloft are two medications that can really help you out. there's a lot more, too (depending on your symptoms).

some ways, other than medication, can really, truly help, i promise!!! i've had depression too, and these really did help.



1. GET SOME EXERCISE!!

sakiting
swiming
walking
yoga

2. TAKE A BREAK!!

napping
hottubing (my favorite, i have one.)
read a book for fun
listen to relaxing music (no sad songs!)

3. HAVE SOME FUN!!

joing a club
read stuff that makes you laugh
start an art project
spend more time with family or friends

4. EAT GOOD FOOD!!

have breakfast every day
take a multivitimin
avoid caffeine- (it can make you anxious or nervous)
noooo alcohol or drugs

5. TALK ABOUT IT

write down your feelings
cry if you feel sad
call or visit someone
make a list of important numbers that you can call if you ever feel really really sad...

6. STICK WITH IT!!

use a calendar to record when you have therapy
remember your medication (if you are taking any)
make a mood chart...(every day, rate your mood from 1-10 and why)

7.FEED YOUR SPIRIT!!

use a journal
write a song
write poetry
go to the beach
collect something
go to a support group
make a craft

please,please don't do that! i was depressed for like 2 years and saw 2 different therapists.I was so sad because I thought i was too skinny but i have cellulite and all and i am like thickish but i still think i am kind of small.However, at the beginning of the year i was watching this christian program with this lady named joyce meyers who speaks about enjoying your life.- i know you may not want to here about christian stuff and i didn't for a while, but i just opened up my life to God.i accept Jesus and every since that day I have been completely happy.i don't know you but when i read your letter i almost cried because i believe you are valuable because you wouldn't be here at all!ain't nothing wrong with being a little thickish-lol!however overweight is bad.so first I would want you to pray to God because he sees you and feels you. and just open yourself to him.then like move! like go for a walk or put on your favorite song and dance.you will feel great.and if you need anything, my email is kaptaurus108@aol.com.sorry is response is to long.

If those stupid people don't like you, becuase youre "unattractive", forget about them. You dont need those fakeasses around you anyways. One day you'll find people that you can click with, and thats all that really matters.

This probably seems a little cheesy but you need to know that you are the only one that can help you. You need to realize that everyone has something wrong with them. Some of it is physical and some of it is emotional. You need to find a guy that likes you for who you are on the inside and not on the outside. Everyone girl has their romeo somewhere. Sometimes it just takes a little bit longer to find him. Please dont try to commit suicide. I wanted to for the longest time just because my mom died and i felt like she was the only one who loved me but i didnt because i realized that i was wrong. Their are people out there who do love you. And anyway if your overwieght that just means their is more to love (lol). I mean their is Queen Latifah and she is overweight but she is one of the most beautiful women out there. She had every chance in the world to kill herself but she didn't and now look. She is rich and famous and she has many fans who love her. Trust me when i say that you have fans out there too.

look you probably artnt that fat and you mostliky have a secret admirer out there some were live you teenage years to the fullest don't worry about what other ppl say and don't worry about finding a boy right away sooner or later a guy will ask you out



and if you think your fat maybe you should go on a diet or exersiz more or look in the merer and pick out things you like about you self be vary positive and don't believe in what every one says?


If you think your really clinically depressed the talk to some one about taking anti depression meds.

Well i think you should stop caring about wat other people think and just have fun with ur life. There isnt a reason to die when theres someone out there for you. I used to care about wat people thought about me but ihav a boyfriend now so dont worry. A guy should like you for you. So dont kill yourself over that your letting them win that way.

this is completely normal and though it may not seem like it LOTS and LOTS of girls feel the way you do. but when it comes down to it its really not about looks. believe it or not guys really do want a girl with personality and it seems like you have a really genuine one. waht you need to do is involve yourself in groups and activities where there are lots of peple to mingle with. BUT the important thing is to pick groups taht actually interest YOU so then you have something in common wiht a boy you may come to like there. and remember physical appearance isn't hard to change with a healthy diet and a little excersize here and there.
ps* excersize gives you endorphins--endorphins make you happy so that could help you too
