I relaly dont know what to do..

Question Posted Tuesday March 20 2007, 4:18 pm

To start yo off I have a BIG crush on this guy. Me and him are both kind of quiet, sweet, down to earth, and try hard in school but not the best grades. He's AMAZING, and I like everything about him. Honest - if you asked me what about him I liked and why I liked him, I could write 2 books on it.. Anyways...some boy I'm kind of friends with knew I liked him and he told the boy I like and some other people. Now, its okay if some people know but the boy I like himself... It ruined everything. Now I feel as if I try to talk to him, he will just think its because I like him and I'm trying to date him.

My friend is kind of friends with him and wants to say to him we are great together but I'm not sure if its a good idea, does it put pressure on him?

I wan't to go to the dance with him this Friday so bad. I haven't even ever talked to him before so is it weird that I like him so much? I constanly think abut him... also what should I do about the dance? I'm scared to just ask him sine I've never talked before, and it would be kind of weird to suiddently just start talking to him now after all this time.

i understand completely! dont worry..talking to him isnt going to make him think youre just talking because youre trying to date him..as long as youre just TALKING and not flirting excessively, that is. CONFIDENCE! know that he'd be very happy to talk to you and you have nothing to lose..and just start a conversation one day..you could just bring up something relating to school..thats a start..and then progress into other conversations. i dont think it would be weird to suddenly start talking to him and i'm sure hes wanting to get to know you as well! about the dance..i know its gonna be hard but you should definetely go for it..the easiest way is to casually mention it such as "so are you goin to the dance friday?" and if he says yeah and doesnt mention another girl you could say "me too..maybe we could go together if you wanna (or you could say "maybe we can meet up there"). Even if it doesnt work out,i dont think you should give up because going after what you want in life is important and who knows..he could end up falling for you! so just go for it.

Thank you for the ranking.
Im glad that you are puting his feelings into consideration instead of just thinking about yourself which is what most people might do.

hey, well im sorry to say this, but im pretty sure that it`s just an attraction. it is almost humanly impossible to like/love someone that you haven`t spoken to a day in your life. start talking to him on AIM first. then slowly use the things you talk to him about on AIM, in person.
