What brand of hair products would you say is the best? and from that brand, what would be the best shampoos, conditioners, sprays, etc. for naturally frizzy, wavy, curly, knotty, puffy hair?
and also, names of good hair dryers and hair straighteners/curlers would be appreciated!
uisforukelele answered Tuesday March 20 2007, 11:05 pm: every day i use pantene blonde expressions shampoo and conditioner. i also use infusium 23 leave in conditioner spray. then i blow dry my hair kind of straight (it's naturally wavy) with a revlon hair dryer on the medium heat setting, and i do a little trick where when my hair is almost dry, i switch to the cool setting and start combing it. sometimes i straighten it with a vidal sassoon straightener. - Shampoos & conditioners: Bedhead (my personal choice, $26-$32 a big bottle depending where you get it) or Catwalk (both are by TIGI), Paul Mitchell, Biolage, Herbal Essences
- Anti Poof: SUNSILK Anti-Poof 24/7 Creme ($3.99 at any store/drugstore).
ilysm_4321 answered Tuesday March 20 2007, 9:21 pm: For frizzy hair or non frizzy hair i think that Bed Head is the best and it comes in alot of good smells. Bed head comes in everything for any type of hair so you can usually find it in a beatuy store or any place that has name brand products. It works really good and smells really good also. You can basically get anything your looking for in Bed Head stuff including make-up.
enjoy(: [ ilysm_4321's advice column | Ask ilysm_4321 A Question ]
CourtneyGlynne answered Tuesday March 20 2007, 4:44 am: The best products you could use if you're not on a budget is Paul Mitchell. Paul Mitchell has an awesome line for your hair type, you just have to check it out! If you're on a budget, Aussie. Their volumizing line is great for people with curly and knotty, puffy hair. It silkens it without weighing it down, giving it a lot of volume that you would lose with other products. Any of their curling serums, creams, and mousses are great, as well as their 3 minute miracle conditioners (helps with the knots).
As for hair dryers and flat irons...Remington is a great brand. Always choose a hair dryer with a medium sized barrel, never long, just creates more work. Flat irons - always go ceramic or porcelean, tames frizzies and leaves your hair in better condition that before. The Wet 2 Straight from remington is a cheap, amazing straightener.
Teza answered Tuesday March 20 2007, 12:21 am: I have three favorite hair products. Everything by Garnier Fructise (sp), Aussie, & Tresseme. They have pretty much everything and anything for hair. Leave in conditioners, awesome shampoos for all hair types and such & it's affordable. Any hair dryer is good but I'm satisfied with my Conair one. The best straightener I have used would defenetlly be the Chi. It's pricy but it's worth the cash. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
