im like 13 and a half years old and im 5'11'' to about 6' and im 203 pounds. I lost a quick ten pounds lately, but im in fear of gaining it back, and i kind of want to lose maybe 15 or maybe 20 more pounds. I play basketball and I'm to short to ever become a center, the position I play now, in big leagues. So i want to get down to play a small forward position later in high school. So i was wondering if anyone knows a way to lose a quick 15-20 pounds, maybe in like one to two months. Or at most 3-4. In a week I'll be doing some plyometrics after school which is a really hard workout. But any other advice would be great
LoveMeDo answered Monday March 19 2007, 5:56 pm: Well, "losing quick pounds" isn't very good for you. However, running, pilaties, and yoga are your best bet. (You can get pilaties and yoga videos anywhere, or mabye you could take a class) Anyway, I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH: you probaly will gain it all back of you don't combine exercise with a healthy diet. (And I don't mean diet like cutting back, but just as in making good choices) Good Luck! [ LoveMeDo's advice column | Ask LoveMeDo A Question ]
