I just finished reading Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld. When I go to the library I never seem to be able to find a book that actually looks interesting to me. Like all the books are about 26 year old single women that work for a magazine in New York City. Does anybody know of any books kind of like Prep, more for teenage girls .. that are good? Titles and authors would be great. <3
I don't know if you're into Sylvia Plath, she was sometimes considered a creepy writer because her style is so dark, but "The Bell Jar", by her obviously, is a pretty good book. It's semi autobiographical and it's about a college girl battling with depression and suicide. I like it and some other girls my age did too. The Dashwood Sisters Secrets of Love
13 Little Blue Envelopes
Flavor of the Week
Good Girls
Confessions of a Not It Girl
the dashwood sisters is a good book, sad but good and it has a brittish flair which makes it a little difficult to understand some of the lingo
13 little blue envelopes is a really good book for adventure and a a little love story along with a twist at the end
flavor of the week is a really good book. its short though, i finished it in 8hours. its about a really sweet guy who's in love with his best girl friend.
^^^those are my top 3 choices. hope you enjoy them.
