i pierced my own lip and its swollen! is that okay/
i pierced my own lip and it doesnt hurt but it looks like i got punched in the lips. its not really horribly swollen but its swollen. im not really sure what to do so im not eating or drinking anything except water. is this normal? someone help please!

not eating or drinking anything but water is NOT helping your lip. start eating and drinking like you would normally do. you definitely should go to the doctor its probably infected.

I advise you to go and get that checked out before you get a serious infection. Although you probably already have one.

OOO, definatley not. You should have gotten it professionaly done,now it could be infected. At a professional, they sterilize everything. Sweeling is normal, but try putting some ice on the place you put the hole, this should numb it. Right after your lip feels numb rub alcohol on your lip and your chin,if the piercing seems crusty,go to a doctor, ASAP! Hope this helps!

I advise you to get it looked at, because my friend has the same problem as you and then it started getting puffier and it started to bleed, so i suggest to have your mom and/or doctor take a look, just to make sure.
