totallyxrad answered Saturday March 17 2007, 9:41 am: playing hard to get means making the guy work hard to be with you. like have to spend alot of time with you, do what you want and things like that. [ totallyxrad's advice column | Ask totallyxrad A Question ]
askkatie answered Saturday March 17 2007, 7:37 am: Not exactly. Leading someone on means that you are making them believe you have feelings for them when you actually do not. That's a pretty mean thing to do to someone and could really end horribly. I don't reccomend leading anyone on.
Now playing hard to get is a whole new ballgame! It means that you want the person.. they like you and you like them back. You could act like your interested.. but that it doesn't bother you if they don't like you. Flirt with him/her, but also sort of make it seem like they can't get you. Play hard to get. The name says it all. But don't play hard to get for too long, guys (and girls) like a challenege but if it takes them too long to get you, then they'll just give up.
